Ringolevio is a game that can be played anywhere, but its origins lie deep beneath the cracks of the teeming cobblestone streets of Depression era New York City. Legend has it the game lives on and a small group of outsiders still play on the outskirts of the 5 boroughs, even today.
In it's essence the game is one of the many variations of tag. It requires close teamwork, near-military strategy and a merciless sense of self-preservation. This is a game to be fought rather than played - precisely why so many have been crippled, maimed or even dashed themselves to death trying to escape capture. Played on the highest level Ringolevio is a game of life or death. Every player treats the game's motto as a mantra to live by.
Play for keeps, don't get caught.
